So each week, I am going to TRY to bring you a Top 5 list. It will be a list of my top 5 whatever the topic is for that day. I will also take suggestions on any future lists that you want me to compile. This is STRICTLY my own opinion. And it’s totally cool if you don’t agree.
All that being said, let’s start it off with Top 5 Months of the Year. (Easy enough, right?)
5: December. There is just so much going on. Who doesn’t love Christmas time? You get all warm and fuzzy being with the family (and the presents they tend to bring. Let’s be honest). Plus we do so much charity work at the station. It’s nice to give back to the community.
4: January. Gross you say? Yea, the month itself is pretty nasty…but I love what it represents. With the turn of the calendar comes New Beginnings. You get to start over. You get to reflect. You get to try to improve.
3: September. For most it means back to school. To me it means that the colors in the leaves will change and create the most amazing landscape (assuming of course that we don’t completely skip this part of the season like we did this year). It’s just so pretty and then the leaves fall and you get to be a kid again and crunch every single leaf that gets in your way. So you don’t do that? Don’t pretend like you don’t…
2: February! Because it’s my birthday month, duh!
1: JUNE! Hello Summer months. The warm sunshine, the crisp cool water, float trips. Need I say more?! Tropical drinks, the kick off for vacation, no more pastiness. The list goes on and on and on. As a matter of fact, can it just be June now? Ready for a nice summer night to go cheer on my STL Cardinals J
Honorable Mention will go to May, just because May is so peaceful. It’s cheery. I like it, too.
Hopefully in the future, these lists will be more meaningful. Enjoy your Tuesday!
