Tears, Documentaries, And Lots of Motion

Jan 10, 2013 -- 11:16am

How am I supposed to write a new blog entry when I just found out about the terrible news of Three Days Grace?! If you didn’t hear, the group’s front man Adam Gontier has announced his immediate departure from the group. It has to all due with some non life threatening illness, so the band picked up My Darkest Days singer Matt Walst. You can get the details on Kirby’s blog. I’m too disgruntled to even dissect this.

A new documentary is coming your way. Set to be released in 2014, The Kurt Cobain project has officially received the green light. The Nirvana late front-man’s home has been raided by director Brett Morgen (all legally) to learn more about the man and the film could end up being a mixture of both animation and live action. Say what? Morgen was even quoted as saying this could be “…this generation’s The Wall…” That’s a lot of hype to live up to, but I hope it all works out.
Keeping with the whole video/film theme, Three Doors Down have debuted their new music video for “One Light.” Of course I’m going to post the video for you….
It involves lots of walking, many panning camera angles, and a whole lotta Brad Arnold. Not knocking it, the video has a good representation of what the song means. There is just a lot of ‘motion’ throughout the entire thing.  Good thing I don’t get car sick…
I think that’s all I got today. I’m going to go eat some ice cream and watch some 3DG. I feel like I’ve just been broken up with.  *sigh*
See ya on Friday!
