Heavy Metal in the CLASSROOM?! Where did I go wrong?

There is a professor at West Texas A&M University who used an Iron Maiden tune to teach sentence structure and it didn’t end there. Now the teacher is putting together a literature class inspired by the lyrics in heavy metal tunes.

All of this came about after the class joked about wanting to study heavy metal instead of your typical English studies.

Could this be a new trend in US universities if all goes well? One can only hope. It would give you an excuse to blast some heavy metal tunes while you do your homework. Take that parents!
